“Shadows”       For children from 2 to 3 years old.   If it’s sunny, then you may put some toys on the window-sill. For example, Teddy-Bear, Stacking Rings, Car or others. Curtain off the window. Do the toy’s shadows appear on the curtain? Tell your little one about a shadow, then draw the curtain aside and look at the toys. Curtain off the window again. Your child should guess where Teddy-Bear’s shadow is or where Car’s shadow is. You may use the lamp. Direct light to the toys near the wall. Their shadows will appear on the wall. You can also  show a theatre with finger’s shadows. Clench one's fist, then forefinger and middle finger up - it’s a “rabbit”. Join all fingers together (your thumb is above). Move the middle finger up and the ring finger down - it’s a “wolf”.  Next>>
