Hohloma and Gzel Crafts from paper plates Hohloma and Gzel are Russian national art.   Hohloma painting uses black background, red flowers, berries and gold leaves and other ornament. Sometimes it uses green a little bit. Usually  Hohloma is painted on wooden dishes, spoons, furniture. You can look at real Hohloma painting pic1, pic2, pic3, pic4   Gzel painting uses only blue and white colors.  Gzel is painted on chinaware. Usually china cups, teapots, saucers and different toys are colored like this. You can look at real Gzel painting pic1, pic2, pic3, pic4   For craft you need: - a paper plate - cardboard - a paint - a glue - scissors   Cut out handles, a spout, a lid, a neck of a jug from cardboard.
