Greetings
I am Sveta and mother of
small girl. Her name is Julia. She was born on 29 of May 2004 and I am older her on
34 years. I ask apology for my bad English. I live in Russia. This country was
closed
during long time. Many years ago
I studied English at school and then at University. Teachers required just
translations. After University I could translate technical texts, but I did not
know how to make phrases and how to speak. Of course we have never heard real
English speech.
Now Russia is open for tourists
and foreign people. A lot of Russian people can travel abroad as well, though
for Russian people it is difficult to get visas. We have internet and English
movies, books, CD, lessons etc. We can learn English. I think it is very
important and really international language. It is impossible to travel without
English now. So, when Julia was two years old, I decided to learn English myself and to
teach her. We tried to speak English every day, I read easy books for her and
we watch cartoons.
And I even make this website. So
I ask for indulgence and I will glad to get corrections.
I am accountant here. But when
Julia was born I understood to spend time with child is more interesting for me,
than career. When Julia was one year old, I read about early learning and I
loved it. I began to teach Julia with small funny games. During four years I
collected games for children. We played these games with my daughter. Now in my
collection I have more than 400 different games for physical development, motor
activities, trainings of memory, logic games, games for teaching of reading and
games for other skills for children 1-5 years old. I made the electronic books
and you can download all these games in Russian version of website. In English
version just the examples, but I will fill this version as well. I sent my book
for publication and the book was published by “Iris-press”. You can
buy it, but
only in Russian. Now I have finished my second book and sent it for
publication. It contains the description different crafts for children. You can
see examples in this website.
I like to spent time with
children. I think they are personalities. They are different. They are talented,
they have a big potential. We should notice it, find and help to develop their
abilities. We should turn teaching into funny games. I believe there are not
bad, lazy or silly children. We just have to notice where their talents are and
to turn teaching into games which will be interesting for kid.
I like to create something for
children, for example presentations. These are teaching presentations about
different things (plants, animals, volcanoes, clothes, fairy tales and etc).
There are lots presentations in Russian version of website and there are a few
ones here.
So, now,
I would like
to live with
kids, to play with kids, to create for kids. I wish to change my job and to
work with children, but unfortunately here nanny or governess or worker in
kindergartens makes so little money (usually 1-2 dollars an hour in my city). I don’t know
it is possible or not to move in other country for working as
nanny or governess. But it is just a dream.
